  • Unified API quality framework: QualityKiosk began by establishing a standardized foundation for API quality, introducing a RAML standardization checklist that covered more than 100 common fields across APIs to ensure uniformity in design and implementation.

 

  • Automation at scale: QualityKiosk used custom Python utilities to auto-generate test cases from RAML/OpenAPI and unified JMeter scripts for combined functional and early performance testing.

 

  • Service virtualization: QualityKiosk virtualized over 200 services and 450 endpoints (simulating third-party systems like NSDL, Karza, and Cersai) to enable uninterrupted testing, advanced fault-tolerance checks, and heavy-load simulations without external dependencies.

 

  • Non-functional and security testing: The solution embedded non-functional validations like fault tolerance, circuit breaker, and health checks, and strengthened security with customized checklists for policies such as JWT token enforcement and secret key handling.

 

  • Reusable test assets: Automation scripts created for the Term Loan journey were reused across partner projects like Airtel and applied seamlessly across functional, performance, and UAT testing, resulting in significant time and cost savings.
